Hi all, if you would like to be a part of the video shoot next week please hand in release forms on Monday. This would be amazing and a great help to me and as I said you are not required to fill this out if you would not like to be a part of this. I will remind you again soon.
If you are missing anything out of the Italy Booklet I will periodically update an electronic copy for your perusal. Some of the formatting may be different but all the content is there. Have fun!
A copy will also be on the FN11/12 page!
There are still a few of you that have not sent me the URLs to your blogs. If I don’t receive one I won’t be able to assess your final projects, which are worth 40% of your final mark. Please check the FN11/12 page on the right for a list of blogs that I have URLs for. If your name is not beside a URL, you have not been receiving a mark for your project thus far.
1) In general, how was your experience making homemade pasta? What challenges did you encounter?
2) What would you change about the pasta or preparation of the sauce?
Greetings from Victoria, everyone! The Home Economics teacher conference was fabulous and Victoria is a beautiful city - I’m having such a great time! Anyways here are your questions for the cinnamon bun lab! Sorry for the delay.
Questions:
1) What are the things that yeast needs to grow properly? As a biological leavening agent, what things did you have to watch out for? What part of working with yeast was/is the most challenging?
2) What could you serve these cinnamon buns with if you did not have access to cream cheese icing? Find a recipe for an accompaniment or frosting for cinnamon buns and post it after your cinnamon buns post. (Note that I specified frosting or ACCOMPANIMENT - what could that be?)
